The police arrested the suspect within hours, while he was driving a stolen car with legitimate license plates stolen from an identical vehicle. The investigation revealed that the suspect began preparations for the murder about 8 hours before the explosion, leaving the Tivon area in the stolen car and carrying out preparatory actions at the scene and on access routes. Northern District Commander, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu, emphasized the importance of solving murder cases and combating serious crime, and praised the work of the Amakim Central Unit investigators.
