Messages revealed in Binyamin Razi murder investigation: 'For three years'

At a hearing on August 4, 2026, to extend the detention of Agam Tzarfati, Shilat Huta, and Linor Shashon, Tzarfati's defense attorney presented screenshots of conversations with her friend and with Binyamin Razi, which he claims show that Razi threatened her. In one message, Tzarfati wrote: 'I have proof of that,' and in a conversation with Razi, he allegedly wrote to her: 'I will murder your mother.' The police representative countered: 'In our view, they had a hand in the murder. That is, there is a brain and there is a body - so they are the brain.' Outside the courtroom, a commotion broke out, and family members shouted at Avior Shashon, the main suspect. Razi's mother, Dakla, said that the meeting with the suspects was 'one of the hardest things I have experienced in my life after the murder of my son,' and added: 'I am not at all surprised that they claim Binyahu was violent towards her - this is a pattern of behavior we experienced for three years.' The lawyers of a minor suspect stated that 'the minor expressed deep regret over the incident' and that 'he has no direct connection to causing Binyamin's death.' Avior Shashon was arrested last week after a lengthy police manhunt, and the police attribute to him a central role in the incident. The suspicions have not yet been decided in court.
