The "One Family" association embarked on a challenging journey at the Black Canyon, connecting its veteran members with young people from bereaved families who joined since October 7. The journey included walking in flowing water, crossing natural pools, and rappelling down cliffs at waterfalls, confronting participants with fears and uncertainty while demanding blind trust in their group members. Maya Day, who lost her mother and two sisters in a terror attack three years ago, shared that this day was for her much more than just another trip, giving her a moment to breathe, let go, laugh, and connect through the experience itself. The association, operating for 25 years, has significantly expanded its activities since October 7 to address the needs of thousands of victims and new families. The association's founder, Shantal Belzberg, received the Israel Prize for lifetime achievement.
