Mardawi: Occupation's aggression in the West Bank will not break our people's steadfastness, and annexation plans will fail
Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi affirmed that the escalation of settler attacks and occupation army incursions in the West Bank reflects the fascist and racist approach of the occupation government, stressing that these attacks will only increase the Palestinian people's determination to remain steadfast and confront, and that annexation plans will fail.
Mahmoud Mardawi, a leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas," affirmed that the escalating settler attacks and ongoing Israeli occupation army incursions into West Bank governorates, along with the assaults and harassment of citizens in the villages of Nablus and Qalqilya, reflect the fascist and racist approach of the occupation government and settler gangs. In a press statement, Mardawi said that these terrorist attacks will only increase the Palestinian people's determination to remain steadfast and confront, stressing that the ongoing occupation aggression will not succeed in breaking the Palestinians' will or forcing them to abandon their land and holy sites. He pointed out that the occupation army's targeting of citizens' homes, evicting them, and turning them into military barracks, as is happening in the town of Tel southwest of Nablus and the town of Fara'ata east of Qalqilya, represents a practical application of the statements of occupation War Minister Israel Katz and his plans aimed at destroying new areas in the West Bank. The Hamas leader stressed that the continuation of the Israeli aggression will not weaken the Palestinian people's resolve and their attachment to their land and rights, affirming that steadfastness and remaining on the land during this stage represent the "safety valve" to thwart annexation and displacement plans.
