Majadala revealed that alongside contacts to bring Yoav Segalovich into Ra'am, former senior officials and security establishment figures from the Jewish sector have already approached Abbas and expressed support for the move, even showing willingness to join. The party is considering a broad revolution including breaking away from the Shura Council and the Islamic Movement, introducing Jewish and Christian candidates, and changing female representation. However, the timetable is tight: Abbas has until August 22 to pass all the changes in the primaries, including receiving two reserved slots and approving them in the general assembly. Majadala stressed that there are things that may not go through at the last moment, and that this is a "very tight political schedule." He added that Abbas has learned lessons from the fall of the change government and realized that the party's subordination to the Shura Council is not accepted by the Israeli public, so he plans to lead Ra'am on a new path.
