Mandate Poll: Eisenkot Returns to the Top - Liberman Gains Strength

A Channel 13 poll published this evening places the 'Yashar!' party led by Gadi Eisenkot at the top with 23 seats, while Likud weakens to 22. The opposition bloc gets 58 seats versus 51 for the coalition. Yisrael Beiteinu strengthens to 11 seats. A scenario of a union between Mansour Abbas and Yoav Segalovich gets 7 seats, but most of the public opposes adding Ra'am to the government.

A Channel 13 poll published this evening (Wednesday) indicates a continuation of the trend of moving away from a clear decision, but gives an advantage to the camp opposing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The opposition bloc of parties reaches 58 seats, while the current coalition parties settle for 51. The Arab parties together receive 11 seats. According to the poll, the 'Yashar!' party led by Gadi Eisenkot leads with 23 seats and becomes the largest party. Likud weakens to 22, while Naftali Bennett's party maintains its strength with 13. Yisrael Beiteinu led by Avigdor Liberman strengthens to 11 seats, the same number as 'The Democrats' led by Yair Golan. Otzma Yehudit of Itamar Ben-Gvir gets 9 seats, United Torah Judaism 8, and Shas 7. Hadash-Ta'al receives 6 seats, while Religious Zionism and Ra'am get 5 each. Below the electoral threshold remain the lists of Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, Balad, and Blue and White led by Benny Gantz. A scenario tested in the poll is a union between Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas and Yoav Segalovich. According to the poll, such a joint list gets 7 seats – two more than Ra'am's strength when it runs alone. The poll was transferred and published on Channel 13 and conducted by 'The Index' of Shmuel Rosner and Nahum Salkov, in collaboration with Stat-Net of Yosef Maklada, the sample project of Dr. Ariel Ayalon, and Askaria of Dudi Dror. 961 respondents participated, and the sampling error is 3.7%.
