A man about 50 years old was found dead near the national park beach in Ashkelon, after extensive searches that lasted many hours. The incident began following a report received at the MDA 101 emergency hotline in the Lakhish region about a man missing in the area. Medical teams who were rushed to the scene could only pronounce his death on site. MDA paramedics, Israel Lugasi and Eliyahu Shukron, reported that they dispatched many forces with the help of special vehicles, including a 4x4 ATV for searching inaccessible areas. Near midnight, the man was found unconscious, and after medical examinations, his death was determined.
