The Israel Airports Authority has warned of possible flight delays at Ben-Gurion Airport due to the presence of US Air Force military aircraft. American refueling planes, stationed at the airport since the start of the war with Iran, occupy parking spots designated for civilian aviation. To reduce the risk of disruptions during the peak summer season, Transport Minister Miri Regev limited the number of such aircraft to 20. The Authority noted that even minor delays can inconvenience passengers, disrupt their plans, and lead to long waits. Staff are doing everything possible to minimize flight cancellations and maintain stable air traffic operations.
