A burst main water pipe that occurred last night (between Thursday and Friday) near the Isrotel Beresheet Hotel in Mitzpe Ramon left guests of the luxury hotel and residents of nearby homes without water for hours. One guest told ynet: 'The whole hotel is without water, and you can't shower, brush your teeth, or make coffee. It's been going on from midnight until now, while the hotel is packed with people.' Another guest, Marina, said she arrived with a two-year-old toddler and couldn't wash her at all, and that her husband heard the explosion at 12 at night. Another guest complained that Shabbat is approaching and no solution has been found yet, estimating that the arrival time of engineering tools is a few hours. Later, ynet was told that water trailers were brought to the hotel. The CEO of the water corporation Ma'ayanot HaDarom said that teams have been handling the issue since last night, and that it is a deep water line. 'We are performing a bypass to connect the hotel to water as quickly as possible,' he said, promising that within hours the issue should be resolved.
