Gadi Kalichman, father of the late Ma'ayan Kalichman, an animation student murdered at the Nova party on October 7, 2023 at age 22, will present a touching animated music video in her memory at the Animix Festival 2026. The clip, full of love for life and nature, combines illustrations drawn by father and daughter, accompanied by lyrics and melody written and sung by the father. Gadi, a third-generation musician, began studying animation at Menashe after Ma'ayan's murder, following a suggestion from her fellow students. He says that drawing allows him to "caress" her, and that studying at Menashe, where his daughter also studied, has become a second home for him. The family chooses to live with love in her memory, while accepting the harsh reality. The clip will be screened in early August at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque.
