Looking Grief and Anger in the Eye: Eifo HaYeled Releases New Album

The Israeli band Eifo HaYeled has released its seventh album, "Ambulance of Songs," created against the backdrop of the Gaza war. Lead singer Hemi Rodner stated that the songs deal with war, pain, and beauty, while looking grief and anger in the eye. The album is accompanied by the single "P.S." and scheduled performances in September.

The band Eifo HaYeled, founded about 40 years ago, has released its seventh album, "Ambulance of Songs." The album was created over the past three years against the backdrop of the Gaza war, and moves between the personal and the national. Lead singer Hemi Rodner said: "In the hardest times our country is going through, friendship and brotherhood have risen. We wrote songs about the war, about the beautiful and painful in this land, without sugarcoating but as we always are - looking grief, anxiety, and anger in the eye... turning it into rock 'n' roll beauty in Hebrew." Alongside Rodner, band members Asaf Srig and Ofir Bar Ami also lead songs on the album. The album release is accompanied by a love song from it, "P.S." The band is scheduled to perform on September 10 at Kivun Rakiah in Ariel Sharon Park with Fortis, on September 20 at the Museum of Patience Jerusalem with Dana Berger, and on September 30 at the Ashdod Amphitheater.
