The Likud party's new slogan, 'Likud - broad national government', presented in a video with candidate Oren Dobronsky, sparked the anger of Otzma Yehudit chairman Itamar Ben Gvir. The National Security Minister called the slogan 'very disturbing' and claimed it reflects the Prime Minister's intention to form a government with Gadi Eisenkot. In a post on X, Ben Gvir wrote that 'a unity government with Eisenkot would be a burial for the judicial reform, and a complete victory for Gali Baharav-Miara and Yitzhak Amit'. He added that Eisenkot and Gantz are 'full-blown left' who torpedoed conquests and targeted killings. Likud spokesman Guy Levi responded in his own post: 'Allow me to reassure you... he knows there is no chance we will exchange a boycott for a boycott. But Itamar is campaigning and that's fine, we understand.' Netanyahu also said in June that he intends to form a broad national government, which drew similar criticism from Ben Gvir.
