Likud claimed AI involvement - Yashar! party responded: "It's all real"
The Yashar! party with Eisenkot rejected Likud's demand to remove its jingle video, asserting it consists solely of authentic footage. The party clarified that the jingle was written using artificial intelligence and that this was explicitly noted, but the video itself is entirely genuine. In response, it was stated that the attempt to turn the labeling issue into grounds for removal is an infringement on legitimate political criticism.
The Yashar! party with Eisenkot today (Tuesday) rejected Likud's demand to remove the party's jingle video, ruling that the video consists of authentic footage and does not violate election law. In response to a letter sent to attorney Ilan Bombach, through lawyers Uri Haberman and Adi Marinberg, the party clarified that the claim of violating the obligation to mark the use of artificial intelligence is based on a mistaken assumption. According to the party, the jingle was indeed written using artificial intelligence and this was explicitly noted, but the video itself is composed entirely of real and authentic materials of events, publications, and existing videos. The party stated: "There is not a single AI-generated footage in the video - the terror, the disasters, the protests against conscription, and Likud members suspected of crimes - all describe reality as it is. Likud's attempt to turn the labeling issue into grounds for removing the video is another attempt to harm legitimate political criticism." The letter emphasized that the video includes a disclosure at its end, alongside critical messages such as the statement "Likud is a disaster." The party added that it is troubling that Likud is dealing with this immediately after finishing its primaries, in which five ministers who served in the cabinet on October 7 were integrated into the list, and only two women in the first two deciles. The article mentions a new law initiated by the Central Elections Committee, which took effect on 26.7, requiring the marking of election propaganda created using artificial intelligence.
