Liberman said his party would win 'by a significant margin' and could complete mandates from Likud, but without Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he explicitly ruled out serving in his government, even as minister for regional cooperation. About Golan he said: 'I'd be happy to compliment him, just let him stay quiet. That's his biggest contribution to our victory.' He noted there are agreements between the sides on issues like the term-limit law, the draft law, and a constitution, but stressed that raising the Palestinian state issue or evacuating settlements 'every other day' is 'absolute madness' that works in Netanyahu's favor. Liberman made clear he would not agree to Democrats' representatives receiving security, internal security, or justice portfolios. Golan responded sharply: 'Avigdor, it's time to stop serving Netanyahu's incitement campaign,' and accused Liberman of trying to erase mandates from the change bloc. He called for working as a bloc to win, and only then argue in the government.
