Lebanese President: 'We Will Not Give Israel an Inch of Land'

Aoun confirmed that trilateral negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, mediated by the US, are ongoing despite criticism within Lebanon. He emphasized that the diplomatic process is better than a destructive war, and that after the signing of the framework agreement, the scale of Israeli attacks on Lebanon has decreased. Aoun responded to his critics who oppose the negotiations with Israel. He also separately stressed that he will not allow Israel's presence even on an inch of Lebanese land. The negotiations are conducted in a trilateral format with the participation of Israel and Lebanon, mediated by the US. Aoun's position is that the diplomatic process should continue, but he categorically rejects Israel's presence on Lebanese territory.
