According to sources, Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a secret order to the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ahmad Vahidi, to prepare for a 'powerful offensive operation against the enemy'. This is reported by Iran International. The move comes amid Khamenei's prolonged absence from the public sphere, which has forced Tehran to establish a special governance model in which key decisions are communicated primarily in writing, and the influence of the military leadership is growing. Earlier, it was reported that President Masoud Pezeshkian held a second meeting with Khamenei within a few days, and Tehran denied rumors of the Supreme Leader's deteriorating health. It is also noted that meetings of the Iranian leadership are held under heightened secrecy, and security measures have been intensified. Khamenei's advisor Ali Akbar Velayati explained the recent events as a result of the resilience of the armed forces and the activity of the 'axis of resistance'.
