Kfar Aza resident: Ignoring the launching of kites from Gaza will lead to disaster

Batya Holin, an evacuated resident of Kfar Aza, warns in an interview with Kan Reshet Bet that ignoring the launching of incendiary kites from the Gaza Strip could lead to another disaster, similar to her warnings before October 7. She describes kites landing in the Gaza border communities and claims that the IDF is not handling the threat immediately.

Batya Holin, a member of Kibbutz Kfar Aza who was evacuated to Kfar Monash, was interviewed this morning (Tuesday) on the program "This Morning" on Kan Reshet Bet and warned that ignoring the launching of kites from the Gaza Strip could lead to disaster. Holin said that kites are landing in the Gaza border communities, and that the IDF admitted the kites are sent by Hamas operatives and not by children. According to her, she already warned on September 24, 2023 about the riots on the border, but was told the events were minor. Now she fears "another disaster" and calls for an immediate change in the approach to handling such threats.
