Kara'i goes on the attack: 'Eisenkot was a bad chief of staff'

Kara'i called him a 'bad chief of staff' and claimed he 'wore the uniform of the refusal of Brothers in Arms'. These remarks were made against the backdrop of Eisenkot's criticism of the government following the events of October 7. Kara'i defended Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said there is no place for his resignation. 'The Prime Minister fixed the intelligence and military failures that existed before October 7 and brought us from the depths to the heights,' he claimed. He added that 'on October 7 we were in the lowest place ever in the State of Israel since its founding,' and that the government 'managed from the greatest crisis to restore the deterrence power of the State of Israel, to bring the United States to fight with us shoulder to shoulder.' Later, Kara'i addressed the possibility of safe spots in Likud and said: 'If the Prime Minister had offered me a safe spot, I would be very offended.' He explained: 'Safe spots for MKs and senior ministers are, in my opinion, ridiculous and insulting to those who cannot come to the voter and ask for renewed trust.' Kara'i concluded that 'I worked very hard, I was at the forefront of the fight against the deep state, the propaganda media, and the rule of legalists who try to steal the mandate from the people,' and that he goes to the public on Monday and asks for their trust.
