In his letter, Solberg called for equal access for media in all election events, including press conferences, tours, primaries, and campaign headquarters. He emphasized that "the right to know is not the journalist's right, but the right of viewers and voters," and that a journalist denied entry leaves the public outside. Solberg noted that the letter does not constitute a legal ruling and recalled a past committee decision regarding a petition against Meretz.
