The Smilansky Festival in Be'er Sheva will take place from August 25 to 27 in the Old City, over three evenings free of charge. Among the artists: Tomer Yosef, Lola Marsh, Nunu, and Jimbo J. Alongside them will appear Itai Pearl and the Israeli Jazz Orchestra, Doda Gang, and the show 'Yehuda Caesar and Friends' with Shimi Tavori, Rami Danoch, and Nissim Saroussi. The festival marks 21 years of art and creativity.
The Smilansky Festival will take place this year from August 25 to 27 in the Old City of Be'er Sheva, marking 21 years of art, creativity, and original music. The event is open to the public free of charge and will run from 19:00 to 23:00 over three evenings. The streets and alleys of the Old City will become a bustling hub with 50 live performances, DJ sets, street art installations, a local creators' fair, food and drink areas, and family-friendly content. Among the prominent artists: Tomer Yosef, Lola Marsh, Nunu, and Jimbo J. Alongside them will appear Itai Pearl and the Israeli Jazz Orchestra, and the hip-hop group Doda Gang. Special highlights are expected in the show 'Yehuda Caesar and Friends' hosting Shimi Tavori, Rami Danoch, and Nissim Saroussi. Also participating: Hillel, Ohana hosting Shai, Maor, Shibush, Sputnik Hi-Fi, and dozens of artists. Artistic director Dudu Chamad said: 'For 21 years, the Smilansky Festival has been the symbol of the Old City in Be'er Sheva - a place where music, art, dance, and theater meet a curious audience.'
