Jewish education’s brightest stars take center stage

The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, and UnitEd launch the Jewish Teachers Award to recognize up to ten exceptional Jewish educators worldwide. Nominations are open at jewishteachersaward.com, with recipients honored at the Global Jewish Educators Conference in Jerusalem on October 12, 2026.

The Jerusalem Post, in partnership with the Israeli Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism and UnitEd, has launched the Jewish Teachers Award to recognize up to ten exceptional Jewish educators from around the world. The award aims to honor teachers who strengthen Jewish identity, connect young people to Israel, and shape Jewish communities. Nominations are open at jewishteachersaward.com for educators teaching Jewish Studies, Hebrew, or Israel Studies at Jewish day schools outside Israel, with at least three years of experience. Recipients will be fully hosted at the Global Jewish Educators Conference in Jerusalem on October 12, 2026. The initiative is supported by Minister Amichai Chikli, who emphasizes the strategic importance of Jewish education for Jewish continuity, especially since October 7. UnitEd, working with over 850 Jewish schools in more than 50 countries, is the professional educational partner. A panel of judges chaired by Chikli will select the winners.
