New details have emerged in the murder of 19-year-old Bnaya Razi in Jerusalem. According to Ynet, on July 11, a group of teenagers received knives from Linor Sasson, who allegedly took a murder contract from two girls. During the attack, one of the clients, Agam Tsarfi, watched a live stream of the crime scene and smiled. Charges have been filed against Sasson, her son, and three minors.
On the evening of Wednesday, August 12, new details of the investigation into the murder of 19-year-old Bnaya Razi were revealed. According to materials obtained by Ynet, on July 11, a group of minors arrived at the Nutella cafe in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, and then were summoned to the home of Linor Sasson, who, according to the prosecution, accepted a murder contract from two 19-year-old girls. The teenagers were handed knives, after which they headed to Razi's home in the Nahlaot neighborhood. A fragment of a video call made during the attack was published: the defendant Agam Tsarfi sits in a car, watches the live stream from the crime scene, smiles, and covers her face with her hand. During interrogation, one of the suspects refused to answer questions, citing the right to remain silent. Linor Sasson said that the suspect heard a conversation with the clients, who claimed that Razi had beaten them. After that, the teenagers armed themselves with knives and went to him. Charges were filed on August 7. Avior Sasson, the main suspect, was on the run for 17 days and was arrested on July 28 in a tunnel at the entrance to Jerusalem. Razi was killed on July 11 in an apartment rented through Airbnb. He returned home, having arranged a meeting with two girls, but instead of them, other suspects entered. During the conflict, Razi was stabbed with sharp objects. A friend of the victim was lightly wounded and fled. The relationship between Razi and Tsarfi was stormy: they argued and filed complaints with the police. Tsarfi obtained a court order prohibiting Razi from approaching her. At the end of 2025, Razi stated that Agam had threatened to send hitmen. The police arrested several suspects, including a female officer of the Prison Service, suspected of helping Avior Sasson. According to the investigation, there was a romantic relationship between the officer and a prisoner, Avior's brother, and she helped the brother escape.
