In recent weeks, the defense establishment has identified that contrary to Hamas's commitment to the Peace Council to disarm, militants continue to arrive at weapons warehouses across the Strip to arm themselves. They have even begun setting up barriers in the streets of Gaza to strengthen their control over the population. Today, Israel struck two weapons warehouses, and yesterday three more warehouses. The envoy of US President Jared Kushner referred earlier this week to the American peace plan in Gaza, saying that although there is agreement between Washington and Jerusalem regarding the day after in the Strip, "the crazy elections" in Israel cause the government to act irrationally. An Israeli source told Kan News that the Americans have accepted the red lines of the Israeli defense establishment for the Strip. Among other things, it was agreed that there will be no Israeli withdrawal from the yellow line without the demilitarization of Gaza, freedom of action to remove immediate threats will be maintained, and full disarmament, with an emphasis on heavy weapons, will be carried out as a condition for the rehabilitation of the Strip.
