Avraham Hadi, 44, a Ramat Gan resident, was indicted on Wednesday by the State Attorney's Office with the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a series of attacks on media offices and a Justice Ministry building. The indictment alleges that between November 2025 and July 2026, Hadi threw bricks at the entrances of Channel 12, Haaretz, and the Justice Ministry, and spray-painted a threatening message near Channel 13. The attacks escalated from graffiti to property damage and an explicit threat of violence. During a July 28 attack on Channel 12, Hadi allegedly left a note demanding an apology over the Sde Teiman affair, warning that 'the next brick will be aimed at one of your heads' and that 'someone will die.' The note also named several public figures. Hadi was arrested on July 30. He faces charges of extortion by threats, making threats, malicious damage, defacing property, and obstruction of justice. The court ordered a psychiatric evaluation. His attorney argued the acts were political protest.
