Pango said the temporary failure is linked to a system update carried out overnight. Israel's Transport Ministry has not yet said whether the outage is related to problems in its own systems. Amid the incident, attention is drawn to a recent wave of access problems with Meta apps, reported by the Israel Internet Association. Meta is aware of the issue but says it cannot control the phenomenon and that the problem is not limited to Israel. The causes of the Meta outages have not been disclosed.
