According to him, the arrangement will grant Israel the security it deserves, as the Strip will no longer serve as a base for terrorist attacks. Amid Israel's clear concern, Hamas continues to make demands for the move to be implemented. Our correspondent Ahikam Himmelfarb reported that senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad told Al-Arabiya that the agreement involves the 'storage' of weapons by the Palestinian National Committee. Additionally, Hamas conditions the transfer of weapons to the committee's responsibility on the cessation of Israeli strikes and the withdrawal of IDF forces from the Strip.
