Mohammad Marandi, a former senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, warned on Saturday that Gulf states and Israel could face devastating attacks if Iran's civilian infrastructure is struck. In a post on X, Marandi said that based on statements from the Trump administration, 'tonight will be the last night of normality' for Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, and possibly Oman. He added that if attacks are carried out against Iran's civilian infrastructure, the critical infrastructure of these 'partner regimes' and the 'Zionist regime' would be destroyed, urging people to prepare to evacuate. Meanwhile, an Israeli official told CBS that Israel is not aware of a decision to fully resume military activity and has not been asked to join any military action against Iran. The Washington Post reported that US European Command chief Gen. Alexus Grynkewich privately warned the Pentagon that he lacked sufficient naval forces to continue defending Israel against Iranian ballistic missiles. The US Navy is under strain after the Trump administration ordered a blockade of Iranian ports in response to Tehran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The US Embassy updated its travel advisory, recommending US citizens in Israel consider leaving. Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, also warned regional countries against cooperating with the US, accusing Washington of 'fanning the flames of regional war.'
