Iran will fight Israel - IRGC threatens attacks

Nagdi also spoke about the fate of the 'occupied Palestine', ruled out the use of nuclear weapons, and criticized the Trump administration.
General Mohammad Reza Nagdi of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that Tehran intends to maintain missile activity against Israel even in a protracted conflict. According to him, Iran is ready to continue missile launches until the end of the war, even if it lasts several years. He stressed that Iran seeks to create such a strong deterrent that a potential adversary would not dare to launch a military attack in the future. As one possible scenario, he allowed the conflict to continue until the next US presidential term, hoping to weaken the enemy and demonstrate to other aggressors the high cost of such a step. Nagdi also noted that the future fate of the 'occupied Palestine', in his opinion, should be determined by the majority of people connected to that territory, but not through nuclear weapons. He stated that Iran advocates the end of the 'Zionist regime'. Speaking about the absence of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei from the public sphere, Nagdi linked it to security measures but avoided answering about a personal meeting. He also criticized the Trump administration, saying its representatives are guided by their own interests.
