Iran has announced the modernization of its missiles after the latest war with Israel, claiming that new capabilities allow munitions to adjust their direction in flight, potentially complicating Israeli missile defense. This was reported by IRGC representative Hossein Mohaibi. According to him, the recent conflict allowed Iran to test new military technologies and identify directions for developing its missile forces. One of the main changes is the ability to control the missile after launch, allowing trajectory changes en route to the target. However, Iran has not provided detailed technical specifications, and it is unknown which types of missiles have been upgraded. The IRGC claims that during the last war, the US used advanced intelligence and radar systems, as well as AI, but this did not fully neutralize Iran's missile potential. Last month, IRGC officials reported that the ceasefire period is being used to restore and build up military capabilities, including accelerating missile production and improving strike accuracy. A possible explanation for the new statements is the development of maneuvering warheads, which complicate interception. Iran has previously claimed such capabilities for the Fattah-1 missile and also linked them to Khorramshahr-4.
