He warned that strikes on the Islamic Republic's energy infrastructure would lead to consequences that, in his words, would destroy the foundations of American influence in the world. "You calculate based on military considerations, but we react according to the logic of history. A strike on Iran's infrastructure will directly provoke tectonic shifts on which your hegemony has been built for 250 years," Mokhber said. Against this backdrop, Israel raised the combat readiness of its defense system. At the same time, an Israeli government official told CBS News that Israel has no information about a decision to resume a full-scale military operation against Iran and has not received requests to join potential strikes. According to Al Arabiya, Jordan warned Iraq of its readiness to strike Iran-backed Shiite militias if they launch attacks on Jordanian territory.
