Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced a framework agreement with Oman to regulate traffic. However, Iranian sources clarify that a complete opening of the strait is not anticipated — instead, new routes are proposed, some of which will pass through Iran's territorial waters. The southern route, which the US insisted on, may be closed. Amid the crisis, oil has exceeded $100 per barrel. The Saudi stock index fell by 1%, and Saudi Aramco shares lost 1.1%. Separately, an incident occurred near the islands of Hangam and Qeshm: an Iranian commercial vessel was damaged, one person killed, and three injured. Pezeshkian also distanced Tehran from Houthi attacks on Saudi infrastructure.
