Iran Assesses Threat from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan Alliance

Ali Salimi, a member of Iran's parliamentary National Security Council, stated that Iran is ready to deliver a harsh military response to any member of the Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan alliance in case of aggression. Tehran does not intend to make allowances for the collective status of the union.

Iran's parliament has commented on the formation of a military bloc involving Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan. The Iranian position was voiced by Ali Salimi, a member of the parliament's National Security Council, who assessed the potential risks posed by the creation of the new trilateral alliance. The parliamentarian stressed that potential aggression by any of the pact's participants would not go unanswered. Moreover, Tehran does not intend to make allowances for the alliance's collective status. Describing the possible reaction of Iranian authorities to aggressive actions, Ali Salimi stated: "If one of the countries of this alliance attacks us, we will respond without taking this alliance into account at all." Thus, Iran demonstrates its readiness to respond militarily to any aggression from the new alliance, emphasizing that the collective status of the union will not affect Tehran's resolve.
