An indictment was filed today (Wednesday) against the four teenagers suspected of attacking a cinema usher in Rehovot. The Central District Police Prosecution Unit attributes to them offenses of aggravated assault with aggravating circumstances and criminal trespass. Despite the police's request for detention until the end of proceedings, they were released to their homes under restrictive conditions. According to a source in the investigation, the teenagers were placed together in a holding cell with recording devices, and in a conversation among themselves they described the violence they used and incriminated themselves. One said, "You hit him," another said, "You tore him apart with kicks, you blew him up too much," and a third said, "I swear I didn't say a word." According to the indictment, the teenagers entered the hall without tickets, smoked e-cigarettes during the screening, and when the usher asked them to stop, they attacked him. The victim, a 19-year-old young man, was taken to Kaplan Medical Center with severe facial injuries, a bruise on his eye, a broken nose, and bleeding. His mother said, "Our fears have been realized." Attorney Yaron Forer, representing a suspect, said, "We will receive the evidence and respond in court."
