Indictment: Man lied he was a Nova survivor, forced his way into a young woman's apartment and raped her

The prosecution filed an indictment with the Central District Court against Adiel Eliyahu Michael Cohen, after he allegedly forced his way into the apartment of a young woman he had met shortly before, committed sexual offenses, and raped her. According to the indictment, Cohen met the complainant, and after she refused to meet him in the apartment, he told her he was a Nova survivor, and out of pity she agreed to meet him only below the building. Cohen arrived at her floor before she came out, and when she tried to close the door, he put his foot in, prevented it from closing, and entered the apartment against her will. He dragged a sofa to the balcony, set up an inflatable pool that hid what was happening from the street, and then grabbed her hips and sat her on him, despite her resistance. Cohen forced oral sex on her and raped her, and afterwards apologized and asked if she enjoyed it. The request for detention until the end of proceedings noted that his actions indicate a clear danger, and that he may endanger the public and women in particular. The defendant was charged with rape and indecent act.
