Indictment Filed Against Two Youths in Grenade-Throwing Incident at G'panika in Kiryat Ono

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Netanel Avudi (22) and Nehorai Havaz (18) from Bat Yam, accused of throwing a grenade at the G'panika restaurant in Kiryat Ono about a month ago. According to the indictment, the two arrived in the middle of the night with electric bicycles and a grenade, threw it repeatedly until it exploded, causing damage to the restaurant and nearby shops. They are charged with aggravated assault, damage by explosive material, and weapons possession; Avudi is also charged with obstruction of justice. The prosecution requests their detention until the end of proceedings.

The indictment attributes to them offenses of aggravated assault, damage by explosive material, and carrying and transporting a weapon, committed together. In addition, Avudi is charged with obstruction of justice. The prosecution requests their detention until the end of proceedings, and noted in the request their lack of fear, audacity, and determination, as well as the lies they told at the beginning of the investigation and their sweeping silence afterward, which increase their dangerousness.
