A breach was detected today (Saturday) in the separation fence at Kibbutz Zikim, and security forces were dispatched to the area. Following the report of a cut in the fence, the kibbutz administration ordered residents to barricade themselves in their homes in the dead of night. After extensive searches along the fence and within the kibbutz, no anomaly was found, and residents were instructed to return to routine. The community's defense forces are closing the breach and increasing security at the kibbutz's borders until further notice. One resident told Walla about children who were trembling and crying, and one of them said: "Mom, I don't want to die. Make them not come again." The IDF dispatched forces to the area following the report from the security coordinator. At this stage, no hostile elements have been detected, and the circumstances of the breach are being investigated.
