In the dead of night: Likud announces ministers Israel Katz, Haim Katz, and Gideon Sa'ar will be reserved slots

The Likud party announced late Monday night that its party secretariat will be asked to approve reserved slots on the party list for Gideon Sa'ar, Israel Katz, and Haim Katz, in addition to slots for Netanyahu. Earlier, the party announced the reserved slot for Oren Dobronsky, who attacked Trump and then apologized.

The Likud party announced late Monday night that its party secretariat will be asked to approve reserved slots on the party list for Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and party center chairman Haim Katz, ahead of the Knesset elections. This is in addition to the new slots expected to be brought by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The party's statement said that the movement's court ruled last week that the defense minister should be reserved a slot, as he was already expected to reach the top of the list, to allow him to focus on security matters rather than politics at this time. It was also stated that Sa'ar would be placed as part of the union agreement with his party, and Katz due to his role as party center chairman. Earlier today, the party announced its first reserved slot: entrepreneur and businessman Oren Dobronsky, a co-founder of the tech company Hotbar, who worked for years in Silicon Valley, will join the list and lead the field of artificial intelligence in the economy. Shortly after, it became known that Dobronsky had attacked US President Donald Trump, calling him a "morally corrupt person" in a tweet about the Iran deal, and after a media storm, he published an apology in which he called Trump "the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House."
