A Magen David Adom team evacuated him in moderate condition to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. Police have not yet arrested suspects and are investigating all directions, including whether the attempted murder is related to the teacher's work. In recent days, a message containing criticism regarding school-related issues was circulated in the town, but it is not yet clear if there is a connection. Residents of Hura strongly condemned the shooting and said there is no justification for opening fire at a teacher. They described Nasser as a dedicated, professional, and beloved teacher.
