In a family feud: Two shot dead in East Jerusalem

Two men in their 40s and 50s were shot dead last night (Saturday to Sunday) in East Jerusalem, in a family feud. At least eight other people were moderately and lightly injured. Police forces arrived at the scene, began collecting evidence and restoring order. Many gunshots were heard in the area. Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Medics from United Hatzalah who arrived at the scene reported that the two men were pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of their injuries. The incident occurs against a backdrop of a wave of violence in Arab society; on Friday, a 31-year-old man was shot dead near Araba in the Lower Galilee.
