Police and Border Police forces raided hotspots in Tayibe and Qalansawe, arresting 18 illegal residents and seizing weapons, ammunition, and tens of thousands of shekels in cash.
Large forces of the National Guard in the Border Police and Central District police raided a series of hotspots in Tayibe and Qalansawe yesterday (Monday). The operation, which took place across multiple scenes simultaneously, ended with the arrest of 18 illegal residents and the seizure of weapons, ammunition, and tens of thousands of shekels in cash. In one building in Qalansawe, five illegal residents who tried to flee were located, along with a 44-year-old local resident arrested on suspicion of employing them. In another house, airsoft guns, ammunition, and a substance suspected to be cannabis were found. At another hotspot, 5.56mm ammunition and 77,800 shekels in cash were seized, and in an open area, a Glock pistol with magazines and bullets was located. Concurrently, traffic enforcement was carried out, and in Tayibe, a motorcycle rider without a driver's license was arrested. The suspects were transferred for investigation.
