Ismail Musrati, a father who lost two sons and eight other family members in a blood feud with the Jarushi family in Lod, breaks his silence in an exclusive interview with ynet. He describes a life of hell, constant fear, and helplessness in the face of law enforcement authorities. According to him, the conflict began from a suspicion that his son was involved in a murder, and escalated into a cycle of revenge that claimed victims on both sides, including women and a 10-year-old girl shot in her sleep. Musrati says he did not receive adequate protection from the police, and that the fear of the conflict was so great that even religious figures and public officials were afraid to help him with his sons' funerals. He admits that acts of revenge were also carried out by his family members, but claims there has been no progress in the murder investigations of his family. He is currently staying outside Israel with his family for fear of their lives, and states that a reconciliation with the other side is no longer possible.
