IDF to demolish home of terrorist who killed 18-year-old Yehuda Sherman in March West Bank attack

Hasson, a resident of Beit Umrin, rammed Sherman's vehicle, causing it to fall off a cliff. He was indicted for murder on May 14, along with additional charges.

The IDF Central Command chief, Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth, signed a notice of intent to demolish the home of Duas Hasson, a terrorist who killed 18-year-old Yehuda Sherman in a car ramming attack in the West Bank in March. The military confirmed the notice on Sunday, noting it was initially delivered on Friday. On the day of the attack, Hasson, a resident of the West Bank village of Beit Umrin, drove his pickup truck to a road near the village entrance after hearing that Israeli settlers were heading towards the village. He then intentionally rammed the rear of Sherman's vehicle, causing it to fall off a cliff. Sherman and another passenger were ejected from the vehicle, resulting in Sherman's death. Hasson was indicted for Sherman's murder on May 14, with additional indictments for intentionally causing the death of two others, obstruction of justice, and possession of weapons without a permit. Prosecutors asked the court for an extension of Hasson's detention until legal proceedings conclude.
