IDF: Terrorist who participated in the abduction of Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or eliminated
The IDF announced that earlier this week it eliminated Ahmed Hussein Muhammad Kafina, commander of the central camps district in the terrorist organization Kata'ib al-Mujahideen, in the southern Gaza Strip. Kafina was involved in the October 7 massacre, took part in the abduction of Avinatan Or and Noa Argamani, and directed the abduction of Sotthisak Rinthalak. He was killed in a precise aerial strike.
The IDF announced today (Friday) that earlier this week it eliminated the terrorist Ahmed Hussein Muhammad Kafina, commander of the central camps district in the terrorist organization Kata'ib al-Mujahideen, in the southern Gaza Strip. According to the military statement, Kafina was involved in the October 7 massacre and took part in the abductions of Avinatan Or and Noa Argamani, as well as directing the abduction of Sotthisak Rinthalak. The IDF stated that Kafina infiltrated Israeli territory with the organization's terrorists during the October 7 attack, and throughout the war promoted terrorist schemes against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. He was eliminated in a precise aerial strike after posing an immediate threat to the forces. Argamani and Or were abducted from the Nova music festival near Re'im on October 7, 2023. Argamani was rescued on June 8, 2024, in a joint operation by the IDF, Shin Bet, and Yamam, and Or was released on October 13, 2025, as part of the third hostage deal. Sotthisak Rinthalak, a Thai national, was abducted on October 7 from the area of Kibbutz Be'eri, and in early June 2025, the IDF and Shin Bet announced that he was murdered during the attack and his body was returned to Israel.
