IDF: Terrorist involved in holding Rom Braslavsky captive eliminated

The IDF announced that over the weekend it eliminated Mahmoud Fatair, a Nukhba commander in the Central Camps Brigade of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, in a strike in the Deir al-Balah area. Fatair participated in the October 7 raid and was involved in holding Rom Braslavsky captive. He was documented at hostage handover ceremonies, and recently attempted to advance terrorist plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.

The IDF announced on Monday that it eliminated Mahmoud Fatair, a Nukhba commander in the Central Camps Brigade of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, in a strike in the Deir al-Balah area over the weekend. According to the IDF statement, Fatair participated in the raid into Israeli territory on October 7 and was involved in holding Rom Braslavsky captive by the organization. The IDF added that during the sixth phase of Operation "Heaven's Gates," Fatair was documented, dressed in Islamic Jihad uniform, participating in handover ceremonies of hostages, including Amit Shani, Ofir Engel, Moran Stella Yanai, Itai Regev, Liam Or Nasser, Raz Ben Ami, Faiyov Ratnin, Gong Sai Lao, Jakkapan Sikaew, and Charuamchai Saikeaw. It was also reported that recently Fatair attempted to advance terrorist plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, and he was eliminated to remove the threat.
