The official stated that the entire training environment will change, from basic needs like beds and hot water to technology-integrated classrooms and simulators. The 7th Brigade training base in northern Israel, covering 20,000 square meters, is in advanced construction and will receive its first recruits in August 2028. The 188th Brigade base in the Jordan Valley is under construction and expected in August 2027. The Kfir Brigade base in the Jordan Valley is in advanced stages, with new sections due in 2028. The Nahal Brigade base near Tel Arad is in planning as a five-year project. The 401st Brigade base near the Shivta training base is expected to begin construction in 2027. The Givati Brigade base, delayed for over 15 years, is in planning and expected around 2031-2032. Planning includes covered tank maintenance centers, urban warfare training facilities, tank simulators, and company-level living quarters with kitchenettes, lounges, and accessible showers. The official emphasized that the location and security components were designed based on lessons from October 7, including infrastructure protection, barriers, and perimeter fencing.
