The IDF arrested this week (Sunday, July 26) in the Tulkarm and Qalqilya area about 30 wanted individuals suspected of involvement in smuggling illegal residents (infiltrators). This was reported by the IDF today (Tuesday). The arrests, led by the Ephraim Brigade, are part of a large-scale operation in the seam zone villages against infrastructure that facilitates illegal infiltration. Forces searched dozens of locations and arrested the suspects in the villages of Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Azun Atma, Shweika, and other villages. The commander of the Ephraim Brigade, Colonel P., said: "Defense in the seam zone begins with initiative and aggressiveness. Continuous presence deep in the villages, focused activity against infiltration infrastructure, and constant friction with the enemy produce quality intelligence, enable striking the enemy and thwarting terrorist infrastructure."
