"I'm in love with him": The forbidden relationship of the prison guard suspected of aiding the brother of the murder defendant

A 34-year-old prison service officer from the central region is suspected of breach of trust and obstruction of an investigation, after conducting a romantic relationship with a prisoner at Hadarim prison, the brother of Avior Sasson (17), the main defendant in the murder of Binyahu Razi in the Nahlaot neighborhood of Jerusalem. According to the suspicion, she allowed the prisoner to make phone contact with his brother while he was on the run. In her interrogation, the officer admitted that she fell in love with the prisoner, kissed him many times in her office, was in contact with his family members, and even considered leaving the prison service to be with him. She denied helping Avior continue his escape and claimed she did not know where he was hiding. The officer was released under restrictive conditions and placed on forced leave. Her lawyer, Dror Shalom, said that the case is not yet closed and that his client fully cooperated.
