Hundreds of terrorists, hotels and schools: the horror scenario in Eilat

The IDF has completed a series of large-scale exercises, from the northern border to Eilat, in preparation for a multi-front surprise attack. The main exercise in the south simulated the infiltration of hundreds of pro-Iranian and Houthi terrorists into Eilat, the takeover of hotels and schools, and attacks on shopping and tourism centers. Simultaneously, exercises were held in southern Lebanon, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria.

The IDF has completed a series of extensive exercises, from the northern border to Eilat, as part of preparations for a multi-front surprise attack. The Kfir Brigade, operating for the first time in southern Lebanon, conducted a brigade-level exercise to test force readiness for extreme and mass-casualty events. In the south, the 179th Reserve Brigade, operating in the Gaza Strip, practiced extreme scenarios including dealing with complex events and rapid transition from defense to attack. The 80th Division conducted a divisional exercise in cooperation with the Air Force and Navy, in which scenarios of hundreds of pro-Iranian and Houthi terrorists infiltrating the city of Eilat were practiced, including taking over hotels and schools and attacking shopping and tourism centers. In Judea and Samaria, the Menashe and Ephraim Brigades completed a joint exercise in the seam zone area, in cooperation with local authorities and security and emergency forces, to improve operational response in the sector.
