The Houthi spokesman in Yemen announced today (Sunday) that the organization's forces shot down an armed drone of the Bayraktar Akıncı type, Turkish-made, belonging to the Saudi army. According to the statement, the drone was carrying out "hostile activities" in the airspace of Al-Jawf Governorate in northern Yemen, and was shot down "with appropriate weapons." The Houthis declared they would act against any attempt to violate the country's sovereignty.
