Horrific car accident in Hadera: car hits pedestrian at crosswalk and crashes into mall

A woman in her 60s was killed this morning (Wednesday) in a serious car accident on Lior Boker Street in Hadera. The driver struck the pedestrian at the crosswalk and immediately after crashed into one of the stores in the mall. The driver was detained by the traffic investigators for questioning. MDA paramedic Pavel Shkurtov and senior medic from MDA's motorcycle unit, Ofer Yoshei, said: "We saw the pedestrian trapped, unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, after being hit by a vehicle. We performed medical checks, but unfortunately she showed no signs of life and we had to pronounce her death." The accident occurred near the mall in Hadera, and the incident is being investigated by the traffic unit.
